Don’t miss Tomitribe at Devoxx 2013. I’ll be there presenting some of the recent accomplishments in the EJB 3.2 spec released as part of Java EE 7. As a spec revision largely focused on API fixes, there were a couple changes with big impact! Prepare to have your view of EJB turned upside down.
We will be there with shirts and stickers to give away, so meet us at the session or catch up with us in the hacking area. If you see us, please do come and say hi! There’s nothing better than meeting TomEE or Java EE enthusiasts.
In celebration of Devoxx 2013, the recording of the Apache TomEE session from Devoxx 2012 is now available for free on Parleys! This couldn’t be better news as that talk was perhaps my favorite of 2012. Several hundred of us all in a movie theater in the largest room at Devoxx (seats 900) getting into the guts of TomEE and having a good time doing it! All of us on TomEE put so much of ourselves into the project that to have so many people come out and see us is amazing and humbling. It was my first Devoxx and an experience I’ll remember for years to come. If you only see one video of Apache TomEE, this is the one to watch!
